Jacob and Timmy have been taking piano lessons since March and recently had their first piano recital. It was soo cute and they looked like such handsome little boys, all grown up sitting at that big piano :)
I still had this great design left in my pack of Newsprint Designer Paper....so, naturally, I thought of the perfect person to give it to!
With just TWO sheets of the same design, I was able to stretch it into a set of 18 note cards! I sat down and just started with one design...then I did made a second....and then with the "scraps" that were still left....I was able to punch out the scallop squares and complete a third design. I couldn't believe it!!
A closer look at the first card I made....
This is actually the third card I made....the scallop squares were punched from the supposed "scraps" I had left over. This design has a fair amount of plain vanilla areas in between the musical notes - - had it been placed closer together, I very well may have been able to squeeze a few more cards outta' this paper.
And this was the second design I played with....
A fun little picture of all 18 cards!! It sure wasn't easy fitting them into the frame :)
The very, very handsome Timmy
The handsomely, dapper Jacob
And...finally a picture of all 5 of us....it certainly wasn't easy getting all 3 boys to "smile" at the same time...Matthew is working on us to take guitar lessons...maybe now that baseball season is over, we'll have to see :)
Happy Stampin'
