The Cupcake Truck!

Sale-A-Bration offers this cute little Taco Truck for free with a $50 order!

I fell in love the second I saw this set.....

and the food truck frenzy isn't limited to just tacos :)

My truck is bringing along some Birthday Cupcake Wishes and another little surprise, too!

It's a SHAKER card....yes...I fussy cut the pieces,

but really - I was watching a movie with the hubs and boys.

It seemed like I was done lickety split.

Sometimes I find it relaxing to get lost in the fun details that tell a story.

So...

The truck was stamped once on Peekaboo Peach and once on Whisper White.  Cut out the truck from the Whisper White and using a circle punch to get the window part of my shaker area started, I cut it out.

After some fun coloring with markers, I added a Wink of Stella to the windows!

Then, cut out your cupcakes and pennant banner up in the corner and VIOLA!

A fun little card that was fun to make....

And....I even had fun on the inside sentiment :)

caution: This card requires patience and a little time - - no stamping a stack of these in 30 minutes!

But it sure is worth it!

Beautiful You

Beautiful You is one of my favorite sets from the Occasions Spring Catalog.


This one is colored with Watermelon Wonder on Crumb Cake to make her pop!
I think the white layer adds a crisp, clean line to the card, as well.

I saw this idea on our Stampin' Up website
and added the hand stitched border with a ruler and basic black marker!

I've enjoyed making several different cards that I will be sharing with you...

Can you believe I'm over halfway done with my Master's Program? 

I am enjoying the work and people I'm meeting so much!

I've even been given opportunities to use my new knowledge and skills.

I recently had some time off from school and spent some time stamping away...it was so relaxing.

The first card I'll share, since Valentine's is coming up....is this sweet, cute card. 

Very easy to make a lot of these. 

It is cute and quick and a little bit of embellishment makes it a WOW :)

The focal image is actually 5 separate stamps,

but I placed them all on one block and used it like one stamp! 

You can make lots of these in no time!
