Painted Poppies

It's about that time of year when the California Poppies bloom!

So a little tribute to our Poppies and here's a sweet little card sending birthday wishes your way!

Top Tip: Ink up the little sprinkles stamp from the set with Poppy Parade and stamp directly on the ribbon! Customize the pretty white ribbon to match any color combination.

BLOOM & GROW

 I really, really like the BLOOM & GROW with the coordinating BUDDING BLOOMS dies.  

I was seeing so many great cards between other Stampin' UP! demonstrators and Pinterest (naturally, right?) I finally sat down one afternoon and made up a whole bunch of different cards using this set. 

I just picked a favorite at random, then "cased" it. Some of the cards I cased exactly, or I simply switched out colors or supplies that I already had in my supplies.

I will be sharing all the cards in the next few weeks!

Flashback Friday!

One of my favorite flowers are Hydrangeas. 

We have the gorgeous HYDRANGEA HAVEN in the January-June Spring occasions catalog 

and I am in love with the entire suite.

As I was working with it - - 

I remembered this card I made a while ago using scraps of designer series paper. 

The print was a collage of hydrangeas and after I made cards showcasing the pretty paper....

I had these scraps laying on my table.

I alternated the prints of the scraps and 

created a new look with those pieces that end up in the 

scrap pile for super long periods of time.

Do you keep your little scraps or toss them? 

I'm definitely a saver of all the little pieces!
